South Korea Visa Application Status
Disclaimer: Although this is a legit site by South Korea, I cannot guarantee that this is 100% reliable on the status of your Visa Application. But I swear! there’s no harm in trying.
Did you know that there’s a special website where you can check your South Korea Visa Application Status? A major shout out to my friend Janica who shared this awesome information! It’s reasonable to check 2-3 days after you submit your application in the consulate(Manila/Cebu). Check the steps below:
Step 1. Go to this link: https://www.visa.go.kr/
Step 2. On the right column, under Check Application Status click Check Application Status & Print
Step 3. Under Search section, input the following information:
- Type of Application: Diplomatic Office
- Select Passport No.: Input your passport number (in capital letters)
- Name in English: Lastname<space>Firstname (in capital letters)
- Date of Birth: Kindly use the calendar picker
- Then pray ? then click Search!
E-visa application is also available on the website however I’m not sure if Filipinos are allowed to apply online. I think it’s for those countries which do not have any South Korean Consulate. But you can try yourself and please tell me if you are successful or not. 🙂

Hi pano kung mali nalagay sa funding details like sumobra instead na peso dollar ang nalagay ko like 24k usd. May pagasa pa kaya ako maapproved though lahat ng requirements nasubmit ko naman only thing is nagkamali ako sa funding details. Please your advise. Ang flight namin supposedly this coming oct 22.

Hi Cassie.. actually hindi to applicable sakin kasi nalaman ko tong website eh nakuha ko na yung visa mismo and approve ako. But my friend who applied on Sept 27 sa Manila.. chineck niya on Sept 29 and she was approved! pero sa Oct 2 pa yung naka sched na claim niya.. So check mo lang mga after 2 or 3 days siguro..baka mag update na. balitaan mo ko! 🙂

Nacheck ko pp ung status ng applicatipn ko nd ang sabi lng dun application received. huhu wala pa syang application number ang walang nakalagay na purpose of entry. is it a good sign or not kinakabahan tlga ako eh
hello Jean! when ka nag submit ng application mo? if today lang.. bigyan mo muna ng mga 3 to 4 days bago mo check ulit yung site. di kasi agad nag rereflect yung results. Sa case ng kaibigan ko last week lng(sa cebu), on the day ng schedule ng release ng visa niya, dun lang din nag reflect sa site kung ano yung result(which is approve naman 😀 ). so mejo thrilling parin. pero think positve ka lang. as long as complete naman yung requirements na sinubmit mo, I’m sure walang magiging problema. balitaan mo ko!

Yung iba meron results agad, yung iba naman halos walang update and “receive” lng yung nakalagay.. pero so far ngayon ba? nakuha muna yung results mo for sure. Sorry for the late reply. Hello! my (2) friends and I applied last Monday. Upon checking the online portal, 2 of them are already “Approved” while mine still states “Application Received”. Weird lang kasi sabay sabay naman kami and magkakasunod when docs were submitted. I want to be positive but can’t help na kabahan. Feeling ko pa naman ako ang pinaka Korean fanatic tapos baka ako pa ang hndi makakasama ? But i am still praying ?? Any thoughts? Sa monday ang tentative release date.

We submitted our application last 11/24, supposed to be today is the release but when I checked online status is “application received” =(

On the day that I was scheduled to get my passport, when I checked online it is still “Application Received”. Around 9:10 AM it change to Under Review and after an hour it change again to Approved.

Hi Bes! same case lng din tayo nung nag check ako sa status online.. “application receive” din. actually, nag change lng yung status ko on the day na na e-ki-claim na yung visa. tapos ayun approved naman.. normal lng yan na kabahan.. pero wala talaga tayo magagawa kundi mag hintay.. haha kung complete naman yung requirements na sinubmit mo, i don’t think erereject ka nila 🙂 balitaan mo ko!

same hereee! monday release ng passport ko pero until yesterday appiication received pa din status! glad to know may iba din palang ganun ung situation so mejo napanatag ako somehow. praying for my visa approval huhu. ung friend ko na nagapply lang din last monday nalaman nya agad after 3days result. pero sa Qatar kasi sya nagwowoek kaya dun na din sya nagapply ng visa.

Ask ko lang sana ang pila ngayon sa korean embassy. When I past my application lastweek mar 23 ang haba ng pila 12am ako dumating that time pang 100 na ako sa pila. I need to comeback ks ung s nephew and neice ko hindi tinanggap kasi dpat dw parents ung mgsubmit both 9 yearsold . ganun b talaga? Hindi ksi nkalagay kpag minor dpt parents ang mgsubmit.

Hi bess, thank you sa site na ito. Hehe. Na “APPROVED” na pala yung VISA ko kahapon nalaman ko through sitevtas pag punta ko sa Embassy, merun talaga akong VISA. I’ll be staying 44 days sa Korea, yes 44 days sa Korea and first timer po ako nag travel International po. May Invitation letter kasi ako. Hehe. Basta complete lang yung requirements for sure ma approved ka talaga! ?

Hi po nagapply po kasi yung gf ko ng Korean visa last April 13. Ngayon chineck namin ang status yung nakalagay “APPLICATION CANCELLED” pero po yung sa mama nya is approved na po. May naencounter na po ba kayoyng ganito? thanks

Since thru agency na po ngayon application hindi kami sure kung kelan ang releasing ng visa namin 🙁
Pero last Monday sure kaming napadala na sa embassy yung application namin kasi by checking Korean Visa portal naka Application Received na rin. Yung isa naming kasama approved na since may OECD sya at bdo holder din kaso kaming tatlo till now naka Application Received parin at ito na yung 5th day huhu. nakaka kaba kasi hnd pa kami kinokontak ng agency tapos every hour ako nag rerefresh. glad to know na madami rin palang cases na ganon na mejo matagal reflection sa site.
